Helping Hands for Dad's Healing Journey

Dear Friends, Family, & Kind-hearted Supporters,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for assistance in a time of need. My father, Angel David Peñaloza, is currently fighting a battle against a serious illness that has taken a toll on him physically, emotionally, and financially.

As many of you may know, my dad is the type of person who goes out of his way to help anyone in need without a second thought. He will take any opportunity to crack a joke just to see someone smile– he has a natural talent for lifting the spirits of those around him. Now, my dad faces his own health challenges, and it’s our turn to rally around him and provide the support and comfort he greatly needs.

Last Tuesday, February 13th, my dad was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital due to severe abdominal pain which eventually led to two surgeries– a sudden and alarming turn of events that left our family with tremendous worry and uncertainty. The doctors are still conducting tests (and one more surgery) and while we await further results, it’s clear that life will be remarkably different in the coming months.

I have set up this GoFundMe page with the hope that together, we can help alleviate some of the financial stress and allow my father to focus on what truly matters– his recovery. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in my father's journey towards healing. My family and I can’t wait to see him back to his normal self, grilling it up.
