Helping Hearts for Brian Huber
As many of you know, our brother-in-law Brian Huber's world has been upended over the past two months. After being previously healthy, he unexpectedly suffered a cardiac arrest, underwent an urgent heart transplant, and has begun the long road to recovery. He is now in rehab, where he is regaining his strength, but will need to remain in Nashville away from his home and family for several more months while he recovers.
Brian is a husband to Rachel, father to Sarah (4 years old) and Owen (7 months old), high school teacher, and coach. The roles he plays are innumerable, and we need all the help we can get to get him back to his family and community.
We are so touched that family and friends are determined to help. This GoFundMe is where loved ones can contribute to help with medical bills, housing in Nashville, travel, and endless other expenses. We will also try to provide updates, but we appreciate you understanding that this situation is sensitive and constantly changing.
The road for Brian and his family is long, but your donations and prayers help them traverse it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your generosity, love, and support - in all forms. <3
With endless gratitude,
Christian & Kat Montgomery (Brian's Brother- and Sister-in-Law)
(This information was added at the request of GoFundMe: Rachel Montgomery, Brian's wife, is the designated beneficiary so that she may withdraw funds and use them for the family's medical bills, travel expenses, and other costs of Brian's transplant and recovery.)
