Helping Heidi to Peacefully Face Terminal Cancer
Donation protected
Our dear friend Heidi has been battling ovarian cancer for several years and yet it never slowed down her passion for helping others (especially her union family). Unfortunately, after several attempts at various treatments, Heidi was told that her cancer is terminal. Even in the face of this awful truth, Heidi is still living with grace and surrounding herself with love.
Heidi has one son, Raymond, who she is very close to and she has been blessed with a beautiful grandson named Wyatt. She is a VERY proud and doting grandmom.
We are asking that you give a donation to help Heidi with expenses incurred as she tries to navigate the next few months with grace and dignity.
We met Heidi many years ago doing our union work. She is one of the most genuine people and strongest union supporters we have ever known. If you have been to any NJEA event over the past few years, you have most likely run into Heidi Brache. Heidi was her local president, on her county executive committee, and was most recently serving as NJEA Executive Committee for Monmouth County. On top of all of this union work, she spent years volunteering at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank.
Heidi is an absolutely amazing, strong, selfless woman and a wonderful friend. She is compassionate, tireless and determined. Heidi was a teacher in Freehold until she was unable to continue because of her cancer. Heidi has held many union positions over the years (both elected and volunteer). She was a local union president, an NJEA Summer Fellow, a member of NJEA 200k, an NJEA executive member for Monmouth county. When it comes to sending Hustle texts to our members, NO ONE matches Heidi’s work ethic and speed!
We are asking that you give a donation to help Heidi with expenses incurred for her and her family as she continues navigating the next few months with grace and dignity.
Heidi has ALWAYS given of herself and her time, and we ask that you please consider helping make this time easier for her.
No donation is too small, and your thoughts, love, and prayers are also very appreciated.
