Helping Helena Heal

Our dear sweet and beloved Brenda Evans left this earth January 5, 2018 leaving behind a precious 6 year old daughter, Helena, Helena’s father Andrew Wiedl, and a devastated family. Brenda was a mother, a companion, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. The impact of her loss can not be simplified by words, measured in tears, or carried by one soul. This will, and has deeply affected all that knew her smile, her laugh, wit, and joy she gladly gave  to anyone who crossed her path. Her beacon of light in this world was her only Daughter Helena (age 6) who can not even begin to understand or comprehend why this happened. Everything that Helena has known is now forever changed and her future is now in the hands of all us who experienced the wonderful gift of knowing Brenda Evans. As Brenda was Helena’s financial provider, we are asking for any donation large or small to help Helena during this unimaginable transition.  While Helena's father packs their home up in San Diego, her Aunt Kim and Uncle Jeff will be taking her to stay temporarily with them in Monterey CA, where they hope to be able to immediately provide the necessary counseling she will so desperately need to process her loss amidst this unfathomable tragedy.  For all the joy and life that Brenda gave to us all, we are asking that you please come to the aid of Helena to give her hope, comfort, and the life that Brenda always wanted for her.
