Helping Helen and her Daughters

Hello all! This is our good friend Helen. She has two adoring daughters and two very loyal fur babies. She has been a loving mother, and loyal wife for many years. Recently her marriage took a turn for the worst. After a returning from a very long journey to pick her eldest daughter up from a summer vacation with her friend. Then heading to Florida to help her Sister back on her own feet after a domestic assault she had endured, She had returned to the family home in Kentucky. She was very excited to see her husband after a long, and emotionally taxing journey. That quickly changed when she discovered her husband had not been faithful while she was away. She had seen a well known "hook-up" app on the family Ipad. When she questioned her husband about it, he erupted into a fit of rage attacking her relentlessly. Their daughter headed to a fellow neighbors house pleading for help as her mother was being physically and verbally assaulted. His viscous attack left Helen unconscious and in dire need of medical attention. Her phone had been shattered by her husband, and her room left a bloodied mess. Ems and local police responded quickly getting her the emergent care she needed and arresting her attacker.

She had suffered a concussion along with many contusions and lacerations to her face, head and body. Her nose and brow required immediate stiches. She later found she also should have gotten stiches on the back of her head. Her nose was fractured, as were some of her ribs. The swelling to her face had left her completely unable to see or open one of her eyes. He managed to bust many of the blood vessels in her eye. She was unable to eat for many days due to the extent of the injuries sustained to her face and jaw. She suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury with bleeding and swelling that needs monitoring. She also sustained an Upper GI bleed. She and her Daughters are facing a lifetime of PTSD to heal from this attack. She will need Occupational Rehab Therapy, Speech and Physical Therapies. She is also facing surgeries to correct the damages done.

She is in dire need of help with the all of these cost adding up daily. Court, medical, and cost of living is beginning to take its toll.

She is seeking legal help, as well as needing help with continued costs of medical, food, gas to get to and from all of the follow-up appointments needed for continued care. Her husband had not been taking care of the responsibilities of their family business or maintaining the home. Instead left her with extensive injuries to recover from on her own.
