Helping Heroes Tragic Motorcycle Accident Support

On a fateful Thursday afternoon, July 27, tragedy struck when two motorcycles were involved in a severe crash near State Highway 31 and Douglas Avenue. The impact left both riders, two of my beloved brothers, with life-threatening injuries.

The incident unfolded as a vehicle was heading north on Douglas Avenue and attempted to turn left into a business. Tragically, the vehicle turned directly into the path of my brothers motorcycles as they were riding south on Douglas Avenue, leaving them with no time to evade the collision.

My brother Travis, a 35-year-old with a heart of gold was seriously injured and had to be flown via Flight For Life to receive immediate medical attention resulting in multiple compound fractures in his arm and leg. His injuries were so severe that he has required multiple surgeries to stabilize his condition and many more to come. The road to recovery will be long and arduous, but with your support, we hope to see him regain his strength and mobility.

Equally heartbreaking is the condition of my brother Konner, just 26 years old he endured the brunt of the impact. He is currently in an induced coma, bravely battling severe internal bleeding including injuries to his liver at a level 5/5 while sustaining multiple fractures in his left arm (top, elbow, forearm, and wrist) a shattered knee, among other injuries that we are still waiting to fully comprehend. He has already had multiple surgeries and many more to come.

Our family is clinging to hope, praying for his recovery, and we know that every bit of help we receive can make a tremendous difference in his fight for life.

Travis and Konner are not just brothers; they are inseparable best friends and coworkers. Their bond is unbreakable, and the pain of this accident has touched all of us deeply. Konner is a new daddy to an incredible 1 year old daughter, and Travis just recently proposed to the love of his life. We are now reaching out to the generous hearts of friends, family, and kind strangers, seeking help to piece our lives back together.

The road to healing will be challenging, and the financial burden of medical bills and living expenses has added to the weight on our shoulders.
