Helping improve the lives of our sick little ones

On the 23rd of March 2025, I am running the Wicklow half marathon. I'm raising money in aid of The Children's Health Foundation.

Brooke’s Story

My daughter Brooke was born in June 2018 at 36 weeks. She spent her first week in NICU in Holles Street. When she was 6 days old they discovered a problem with her heart and she was sent to the children’s heart centre (CHI) in Crumlin and had her first heart operation, the following day, at one week old. Brooke spent allot of time in Crumlin in her early years and was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition when she was two and a half. Brooke is now 6 and in senior infants in big school. She loves her friends, doing ballet and anything pink! She is brave, sensitive, kind and always looking out for other people. She adores her little brother Alex (most of the time )

I wanted to take this opportunity to give something back to the healthcare system that looked after my little girl when she needed it.

The Children’s Health Foundation raises vital funds to support sick children from all over Ireland and their families. Your contribution will help improve the level of care that can be offered to these brave little patients.
