Helping Jacob Keen

On Wednesday April 10th, Jacob Keen was hit by a truck while riding his bike into work. His injuries caused an amputation of his right foot.

Jacob is a beloved I.A.T.S.E. Member, Gaffer, set electrician and avid bike rider. Being physically active is a massive part of his livelihood and his life, and this accident is a devastating set back. There's no doubt Jacob will fight hard through his road ahead, but he will need support.

It can be incredibly hard to ask for help, and it is not in Jacob’s nature to do so, so we are asking on his behalf. Jacob will be out of work for quite some time. We are making this GoFundMe to help with expenses so he can focus on recovery.

The film and television industry has had a rough go of it lately, having faced a great deal of work shortages. We know that many are struggling. If you are able, a contribution of any amount will help, and is appreciated.

Being surrounded and uplifted by his community at this time will be so important to Jacob, and I hope we can do that for him.
