Helping Jay and Cindy Salgado's Family Fundraiser

 

 

 

 

On January 30th at approximately midnight, Jay Salgado was on his way home from the BP gas station on Route 47 and 72. Jay was driving eastbound on Route 72 when he suddenly lost consciousness and his car went out of control, rolling over 3 times, hitting a generator, and then hitting a light pole before coming to a complete stop landing on the roof of his car.

 

 

Jay was rushed to the hospital and was in ICU for 3 days in a medically induced coma with internal bleeding, heart trama, head trama, a shattered collar bone, fractured shoulder and joints, torn tendons and ligaments, and major internal bruising.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After spending more than a week in the hospital, Jay is now home recovering with his wife Cindy and his children Jayla and Niko by his side.

 

 

 

On Friday, February 25th, 2022. Jay is having extensive reconstructive surgery to his collar bone, shoulder, tendons and ligaments. He will be unable to work for at least a year or more.

 

 

 

Due to the pandemic, mounting medical bills, and other family necessities, Jay and Cindy's family need our help. Even though Cindy works her butt off as a Parent Educator for DeLacey Family Education Center it's not enough. They have a long way to go and are in desperate need of our help. We need our D300 family to step up for one of our own!!!
