Helping Jeannine's Family

It is with deep sadness that we share that Jeannine King died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, April 3rd, leaving behind her husband Chris and her 20-year-old son Naima. Jeannine was a long-time special educator and school leader who impacted the lives of thousands of students, families and colleagues. She was an incredible educator and advocate for children, and particularly dedicated herself to mentoring special educators of the global majority. Jeannine's legacy will live on in the lives of her former students and her colleagues.

Jeannine was also a dedicated wife and mother who cared deeply for her family and put them first in every way. She took care of the people she loved and created a loving home for Chris and Naima. She was the primary breadwinner for her family and we would like to support Chris and Naima with the extensive expenses they face right now following Jeannine's passing.
