Helping Jordan Recover From Serious Injury

Carron Huskies Mens team plays in a league designed to get overweight men back fit and active through playing football. Games obviously carry the risk of injuries but recently our keeper Jordan Speirs suffered severe injuries in a game against Corstorphine Dynamo.

After an accidental collision during the game, Jordan was left with 5 fractures on his ribs, a lacerated spleen, lacerated kidney and developed blood clots since the injury all adding to the extent of the damage. This was a certainly with no malice, but a freak accident on the football park.

With a pregnant partner at home, i'm sure we can all appreciate Jordans worries considering he will now face a lengthy spell of recovery and statutory sick pay. Despite the club insurance also covering him we've set up this for anyone who would like to contribute, no matter how small. All monies will go towards Jordans family to ease the burden of his time off work.
