Helping Jords kick cancers ass

Hi! My name is Kerry and I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my close friends Jordan & Holly.

On the 11th of July, Jordan & Holly received the devastating news that Jordan has Testicular Cancer. After going to the doctor for a sore back, being a healthy 30-year-old .. this is the last thing they expected to hear.

From that moment things moved pretty fast and Jordan was admitted to Box Hill Hospital the following morning. From there, they found out that the cancer has spread to one of his kidneys and both lungs. Since then the family have been overwhelmed with information and this new diagnosis is still yet to sink in.

While Jordan has been undergoing a series of tests over the past fortnight, receiving loads of information and meeting with a board of specialists Holly hasn't left his side.

Jordan & Holly have 4 Children all under the age of 11. Jordan is a family man and always has everyone laughing. He is a hard worker and had just got his own bricklaying business up and running. As Jordan is unable to work and Holly is wanting to support him through these coming weeks as he begins chemo I am starting this fundraiser to ease the financial strain and take a little of the load off as they face a very challenging time ahead.

They have chosen to be a part of a trial, meaning he will receive the treatment in a more compressed way and more frequently. This will be over a process of 16 weeks. One week on and one week off.

I know times are tough with the rise in the cost of living, although in times like these the support from our community plays a huge part in this chapter and every cent counts.

So whether it be big or small, or even a share of this page I want to thank you all on behalf of the Smith family and myself.

It's going to be a long, hard journey ahead but together we can support Jords in kicking cancers ASS!
