Helping Kahlil become a World Champion

Martial arts has always been an interest to me. I wanted to be a ninja when I was younger, maybe I still do :) I did taekwondo for about a year in 2017 but with circumstances my mom couldn’t afford it anymore. I always reminded my mom that I would love to do some sort of martial arts. Well, my interest became strong in Muay Thai. I have been asking my mom if I could join this particular gym but I was not able to join. Well my mom found Carlson Gracie jujitsu gym and said I could join that one. At that time I took what I could get. I soon loved it. I wanted to go everyday. They offered kickboxing and judo classes after jujitsu class and I would stay for all of those. Martial Arts became a bigger part of my life it became a part of my goals for my future and I started planning accordingly, my mom supporting me every step of the way even when she was tired. I finally belonged somewhere (outside of home). I made friends and had coaches to talk to and look up to. My goal has always been to travel the world competing in different tournaments. Last year I set a goal of earning a place on Team USA for youth MMA. I practiced hard, I trained everyday, I maintained straight A’s in school. I did slack on my chores a bit -_- I worked hard, I am determined.
I’ve watched my mom fight for me for so long. Before my first round at the national tournament I told my mom “ it’s my turn, it is my turn mom.” I went out there and gave it my all. I wanted to prove to my dad who said it was a waste of time and a waste of money that is was not a waste! I wanted to show my mom that all her driving, sitting in the car dealing with my wild siblings as she waited for me, the times she gave up her stuff to be there for me, my siblings too! They waited for me, they cheered me on and they would “practice “ at home with me. I wanted to show everyone and myself that everything was worth it! And I DID!
I won my first national title! I am so excited! I have earned a spot on team USA to represent America!! My first big goal has been accomplished! Now I just need to get there! I promise I will train hard and give it my all. I will make everyone proud with the effort and dedication I’ll give.
Please help me, help my mom make this possible for me. Any donation no matter how small makes a huge difference and I am very thankful.
