Helping Kara return to health

Dearest friends of Kara,

If you are reading this, you probably know that in recent years, our dear dancing woman has been going through the most challenging health issues of her life. 18 months ago, following years of uncertainty and frequent bouts of extreme fatigue and pain, Kara was diagnosed with uterine fibroids. Her symtoms include exhaustion, breathlessness, pain, difficulty sleeping. Sometimes her pain and fatigue are so extreme that it can wipe her out for weeks.

Kara has been booked into a major abdominal surgery in mid June. She is currently at home unable to work because her energy levels have become extremely unpredictable making it difficult to get through each day.

Post operation she will need 24hr care for the first week and a further 6 weeks off work. This will be a difficult time physically and financially. She simply can't get through that much time off work and still pay the bills.

This is where we can help. Kara has humbly asked for us to give only what we can, no more. If it feels good to give, then please do so.

Let's help put Kara back on the dancefloor where she belongs. She has been 'out of order' for too long. I know from experience, the power of community is a powerful healer. Thank you for being a part of her return to health.
