Helping Kim recover & start a new life.

Donation protected
This is my mom, Kim. If you know me or my family then you’ve definitely crossed paths with her, and know for yourself how kind, giving, and loving she is. In 2021 my mom fell down the slippery slope of heroin addiction and has lost everything imaginable in the last two years, including custody of her son, visits with her grandchildren, relationships with just about every single person in her family, her health, electricity, and now place of living. on October 2nd, 2023 she finally reached out and decided it was time to take her life back and she checked into rehab. My mom has always been such a strong person, someone who would never ask for help, but would give a helping hand in a heartbeat. We are asking for help to raise money so we can clear out her home while she is in rehab so she can come out stress free and find a new place to live without losing her housing and get her life back on track. She has been living in a home infested with Cockroaches, mice, and bedbugs far before the addiction even started, and has since had no electricity for 3 months now. We had a junk removal company come and look at the house and they quoted it to be $3500-$4000 worth of removal. The rest of the money will go towards paying off her electricity debt and furnishing a new place for her. We would never ask if we didn’t have to, we’re just trying to make my mom have the smoothest recovery so she can go back to being the amazing mother she always was.
“you don’t get over an addiction by stopping using, you recover by creating a new life where it is easier not to use. If you don’t create a new life, then all the factors that brought you to your addiction will catch up with you again”

thank you, anything helps, please share.
