Helping Kimberly (Kat) recover!!

Donation protected
Hello to all my Facebook friends and family.   I want to introduce you to my friend, Kimberley Hanson.

Also known to many of us as Kat. She lives in Spanish Lakes Fairways. Kat works very hard in the community. Even while suffering with Lupus, she continues to work hard and be there for her community. She loves helping her friends and neighbors but also relies on her jobs in the community for income.

She has been recovering for several months from a simple stomach surgery that led to being hospitalized two more times. She was in full recovery after the first hospital stay and then day "31" happened. She started experiencing what she thought was heartburn, so she took some rolaids, but that didn't work. Her dog, who is very attune to her, started to panic. She stood up in reaction to her dog and instantly collapsed. Kats neighbor found her stumbling out in the street, on the phone with 911. The neighbor took the phone away from her and gave 911 the information needed. The neighbor, Gwen, said..."All I could get out of you was that you couldn't breathe! You were very confused about where you were and what was happening!!!".

She did not remember any of that as she was incredibly disoriented. She vaugely remembers waking up in the ambulance on her way to the hospital. At first, the staff thought maybe she was having heart issues. But to their surprise, they found blood clots in her legs and lungs. (many blood clots). She was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism. She is a walking miracle thanks to the quick reaction of her neighbor, Gwen!!!

After several days, she was sent home with a home nurse and home physical therapy, who came daily. One of the days her PT came, she was concerned. She said that her breathing was all over the place and her coloring was gray. She called an ambulance and again, admitted to the hospital.

Long story short, they found another blood clot that had made it to her chest and they administered nitroglycerin and admitted her on the cardio floor. Instead of the pill form, they changed her blood thinner to a stomach shot that has had much better results.

Kat has a long recovery ahead of her. I am wanting to help her out by sponsoring this GoFundMe. She sure can use it!! If I had only 600 people donate $10.00, we could raise enough money to sustain her for the next 3 months, while she recovers and regains her strength back. This would greatly reduce the stress and get her back to herself a lot quicker. Mark and I understand how much a little help goes a looong way and reduces the stress during recovery.

Please help!!!
