Helping Laura Fonner

As some of you know, Laura Fonner, a customer of mine had to close her restaurant today. Laura was the owner of Siren Restaurant. I had to opportunity to get to know Laura quite well through our business and I was hopeful that she would get through the difficulties she faced from her original business partner.
Laura poured everything she had into opening Siren, and it was an amazing restaurant. She was one of my first customers and she helped connect me to a few other customers as well. Laura gave me guidance on approaching potential new clients as well as helping to get the Honeysuckle Creek Farm name out into the community. She reliably paid for our products on time and even paid for a former sister restaurant as they closed their doors with no notice to the community, staff, or vendors.
Knowing Laura as I do, I know she won’t ask for help right now, the time that she needs it most. Her top priority is making sure her staff receives all monies due to them. In fact, Laura hasn’t taken a paycheck herself in a couple of weeks and she invested all of her savings into Siren. Her wellbeing isn’t even on her radar right now. I commend her for that, but I want to do more! I am starting this GoFundMe to directly support Laura in this uncertain time. I have no doubt that she will rise again but I also know she has a legal battle ahead of her which will include lawyer fees and who knows what else. Let’s help her while she’s busy helping everyone else. Lets help her rise and start again.
