Leah Mendelsohn struck by Van, Seriously Injured in Huntington, New York
Leah Mendelsohn (age 8), daughter of Michael Mendelsohn, MD (ENTA Partner who practices out of our Garden City Office), was seriously injured last Saturday afternoon after being struck by a van in Huntington. Leah was walking across the roadway when she was struck by a van.
Leah was transported to Huntington Hospital and then Cohen’s Children’s Hospital in Queens for treatment. Leah is currently in the Pediatric ICU with multiple serious injuries. In addition to this horrific accident, Michael, himself, has been in and out of the hospital over the last few weeks due to a serious leg injury/infection. Michael has been out of work over the past few months and is really feeling the financial burden.
Michael and Leah are surrounded by friends and family who love her dearly and wish her nothing but love and good health.
At this time, we are asking for any contributions to help the Mendelsohn Family. Hospital fees and missing work have financially taken a toll, and any and all help would be much appreciated.
