Hi, my name is Colby Guyer, and I'm fundraising for an event in my community called Shining Light Through the Darkness. It is an all-volunteer and donation-based Christmas event held at Derry Park, Burnham, Pa. Visitors can enjoy lights, food, entertainment and more at no cost.
The donations in this fundraiser will be used to purchase led lights from a local store; how many will depend on if any specials are still running if/when enough donations come in. Roughly every $7 will get about 25 feet of lights. I want to get enough for 1,000 feet that would most likely be split into 2-3 areas at the park.
I will cover up to $20 of the processing fees, purchase the lights and prep them for use at the park by Dec 3. Those donating may request entry into my Special Projects group, where I will post updates on the project.
