Helping Lilah gain her Independance

Hello everyone!

We are the family of Lilah, a little 7 year old warrior who wins her fight with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1 everyday. SMA is the leading genetic killer of infants and children. Lilah is fortunate to receive treatment for her SMA but still faces many daily challanges and has high medical needs. Lilah lives with a tracheostomy, G-Tube, and she is on a ventilator 24/7. She faces many medical procedures each day, and requires around the clock care to meet all of her needs. As you get to know Lilah, you will learn she is very independent and wants nothing more then to do anything she can on her own. Because of this, we are looking to finally modify our existing bathroom to a fully accessible one, so Lilah is able to meet one of her daily needs with the Independance she deserves. Funds raised from here will go towards this modification, as well as needed medical equipment and supplies, and summer camp.

It truly takes a village, and we appreciate all of our Hope for Lilah tribe who supports our family. I can't wait to show you all the progress as we go!
