Lindsey Fields Memorial Fund

This is not my story, this is Lindsey’s story, but it is my ask. An ask for a dear friend, who has and continues to make a world of difference to every student and every person she meets. This is our chance to make a big difference for her and her family.

 

In August, Lindsey found a lump in her breast, 10 days later she was diagnosed with Stage 3, Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer (ER 20%, PR -, HER2 -). Two weeks later she began the first of two types of chemo-therapy. For those of you who know Lindsey well, she is an incredible person. She is a mother of 4 (ages 11 and under), a PhD student, a full-time College & Career Counselor, a Girl Scout leader, a wife, a daughter, a connector, someone who inspires, helps, makes an impact, and a friend.

 

I'm updating this story to say that while Lindsey fought cancer with all her strength, she unfortunately passed away in her sleep Saturday, April 23rd. She is survived by her husband Matthew and 4 children under 12 years old.
