Helping Little Logan Villarreal

Hi, my name is Aracely Villarreal and mother to Logan Villarreal. My little boy got RSV back in December of 2017. Ever since then he has been sick and taking medication daily. He has been hospitalized two times. We went to two different doctors until we were recommended to Dr. Ali. Dr. Ali was the one who felt a lump on Logan's stomach. Dr. Ali referred him to Dr. Emran in Driscoll Children's Hospital. Unfortunately, the lump was diagnosed as a neuroblastoma tumor.  When we got the results from the oncologist, we were told he was at a Stage 4 cancer, and categorized as an intermediate-high risk patient. It has been so hard for us since all this time we thought it was asthma and/or allergies. He will be going through chemotherapy. We don't leave in Corpus Christi where the hospital is at. I left work to take care of my baby. My husband and I appreciate all the love and prayers we have gotten from family, friends, and our community. We are praying for him to heal sooner than expected.
