Helping Local Farms and Ranches in Davie
Due to the shut down from the Covid-19 pandemic, there are a lot of local barns that are suffering and cannot feed their animals.
The Friends of the Davie Farm Park would like to help out by purchasing a truck load of hay to make available to out local farms and ranches. This fundraiser will allow us to make this purchase and continue to support our local agricultural and equestrian community through this difficult time.
The Friends of the Davie Farm Park is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization created to raise funds for the purpose of developing and maintaining the Governor Leroy Collins Farm Park. This organization will also work with The Town of Davie and its partners, The Broward County Farm Bureau and The Project Stable Foundation, to establish events, programs, educational activities and public outreach. It will engage residents, students, teachers, and businesses in the understanding the vital role agriculture has played in our history and will continue to play regarding the survival of our planet.
