Helping Mama in Her Fight for Life

Update:: they took her off vent today and she is actively passing....Update on what's going on in my life... it's all shook up right now some know and some don't.. long post sorry in advance. I have tried to Keep everyone updated but I'm exhausted physically and mentally . So bare with me please I'm doing my best. For every one that does/don't know my mama had been in the hospital for a long time. She has been very sick. She has had sepsis and then blood sugar was over 500.. so fast forward she was hurting really bad in her stomach so back to hospital she went. From there it's been one thing after another. They told us that she had a collapsed lung well it wasn't praise God for that but it was worse. Her spleen was ruptured so they wanted to do surgery but couldn't at that moment so we waited till we thought she was stronger. Well we got a call from the doc that she had to have surgery for it and he didn't know if she would bleed out during surgery so we were all there and scared that we were going to lose her that day. They told us she would be on the vent during and after surgery bc it was a major one.. well she stayed on the vent for two weeks. During that time her kidneys have failed as well. Shes losing blood She came off the vent. Couldn't speak couldn't swallow so they were working on that said that was normal bc she was on the vent so long. So she came off the vent the Tuesday week of mother's day.. I had video her on Saturday before mothers day Sunday and told her I would come spend the day with her and let her see the baby she just looked at me like she didn't know who I was :( which absolutely shattered me. Well I got a call from the hospital on mother's day at 1 am that she wasn't doing good and she would have to be back on the vent asap. So I waited till about 4am for them to call me back to let me know if she was ok.. so fast forward again I went to see her today. She is responding to us with her eyes opening up shaking her head yes and no. I told her mama I'm here and she started crying that once again broke me down. I spoke with the Lung doc again today. He stated that the vent is giving her 8 breaths and she is doing 26-28 so anything over the 8 she's doing so I was excited well then he tells me they swapped the vent over to where she would do all the work and she couldn't do it :( so I was told today the plans are they will remove the vent tomorrow he said her lungs are very weak and they don't know if she will make it. He did say it might not happen tomorrow could be a few days we don't know right now it's totally up to mom if she can handle it or not.if they see she can't handle it tomorrow and know something will happen they will call in house hospice.Yall please keep praying for all of us. I don't wanna lose another parent this is a very hard situation and only God knows what's going to happen. Share if yall know people that loves mama so they can pray as well.. and yes I will be setting up a gofundme bc she doesn't have insurance unfortunately so we are going to have to have help so please pray love yall..
