Our mom came to the United States in the late 80s as a refugee after the Vietnam war. She went through a lot of hardships and sacrificed so much to be able to get to the land of opportunity. This house was her American dream. She bought it in 2005 and raised the three of us here, along with taking care of our grandma. Unfortunately, on Friday, February 19th, 2021 our mom's house caught on fire and she lost everything, nothing was salvageable. We are so thankful that she was unharmed and got out in time. However, the house was destroyed and she is now displaced. We don't know what the upcoming days will look like. We are starting this GoFundMe to help our mom get back on her feet. We want to bless her and show her that she is cared for. We know that it is a hard time for everyone right now, but we kindly ask that you please give out of the abundance of your heart. Whatever you can, any amount is appreciated!
