Helping Mark get back to his family

My brother, Mark Plautz, is currently being held at the Wake County Detention Center. We are looking to get Mark back to his family and only needs a little bit of money to get back there. The money we are looking for is not intended for legal fees in defense of his charges and case, it is just to help him reunite with his family until his court date.

For those of you who know Mark, he has had what we will refer to as an interesting, unconventional, and adventurous life. He hasn't always made the best decisions but the one constant within Mark's life is his love and connection to his family and love for the outdoors. Over the last year and a half, Mark has made a significant change in his life by becoming sober and putting behind him a heavy and controlling substance addiction. Since graduating and completing his time at the Rehab Center, Mark has been working to turn his life around and do all that he can to give back to those who need it and give thanks to those that have stood by him throughout his life. He has returned to being a weekly active church member and participating in the capacity currently allowed, and he is trying to improve and increase his capacity within the church. Mark wants to get back to his daughters and his dog and care for them and be a present, loving and helpful father.

Mark has had to spend the last month in the Wake County Detention Center on some charges that have been made against him, some of them that are very real, and some that have been over-embellished and severely trumped up. He has had to spend the last month with individuals who are being poorly treated, not cared for and all but written off by the officials within that facility.

Mark is on a path to change, he wants to be better and wants to be the best version of himself. For those who have had tough times in your life, remember what it was like when you needed help and lend whatever help you can, and for those who haven't had such a hard time, sympathize and understand that not everyone can do things all for themselves, we aren't asking for a lot, we are just asking for you to contribute what you can to help a man, a father, a brother and a son, get back to his family and care for them the way they deserve to be cared for.

Mark is not looking to take advantage of anyone, he wants to be responsible for himself, but while he is being detained, he is unable to do what he needs to take care of himself and his family, so he is having to rely on family members to help him do the things that he would rather do himself. He just needs our help to get him out so that he can start taking care of the necessary things, regarding his charges, himself.
