Helping Marlee Alexander and Her Family

Marlee was in a horrific accident on January 17, 2021.  Marlee’s back was broken and her pelvis was crushed.  She is also suffering from major nerve damage, along with many other injuries.

Due to COVID, Marlee is only allowed one visitor during her entire hospital stay, with limited visiting hours per day.  The hospital in which Marlee is in, is located 2.5 hours away from her mother’s home.  Her mom, Marcie, has been making the 5 hour round trip daily, to be with Marlee.  Once Marlee is finally released from the hospital, she will be sent directly to a rehabilitation center for 24/7 care.  The rehab center is also located 2.5-3 hours away; does not allow overnight visitors; allows only one visitor per day, with visiting hours limited to only 3 hours per day.

It is unknown at this time when Marlee will be released from the hospital, nor the length of time she will remain at the rehab center.  

Any support that you would so kindly be willing to give, will go towards travel costs (fuel, tolls, parking fees, food, hotel stays, etc.) for Marlee’s mom; necessities for Marlee during this time; medical expenses; and also to help Marlee’s parent’s prepare their home for her return after her release from the rehab center.  Marlee’s doctor’s have already informed her, that she will be required to remain in a wheelchair for at least a minimum of 2 months, once she is released, and before starting to learn how to walk again.  

Please help support Marlee & her family in their time of need, and please continue to keep both Marlee and her mother, Marcie, in your prayers.  I can’t even begin to imagine just how difficult it must be, for a mother to only have a limited amount of time each day, with their severely injured child, that by the Grace of God, is still alive today, after such a horrific accident.  It breaks her mother's heart to leave her daughter each & every day, knowing that Marlee is there all alone, and suffering in so much pain.  So please, continue to keep them both in your prayers.  Marlee faces a long road to recovery & needs the power of pray to help her get through what lies ahead of her.
