Message from Melissa herself...
"Hey Friends and family,
As you all know some major and unfortunate situations have happened in the past 2 weeks that have really put my kids and I in a position of uncertainty.
My daughter had her spinal fusion and is slowly recovering. I've had to take ALOT of time off from work to be with her.
During this time the universe threw a curveball at us....last week on Wednesday while we were home the winds were so bad that it blew the entire sub roof off our home and knocked down the front porch. Leaving us in a panic not knowing whether we were coming or going. At this point the house we live in is no longer suitable as this misfortune is just one of the many things wrong with this home. Moldy walls, ceilings, cabinets, floor boards are falling through, windows and doors with gaps that have the worst drafts....the list goes on. Also it's only a 2 bedroom. And JJ n Mia are too big to share. They need thier own space.
With all that said...while staying in a hotel temporarily we all started feeling sick. We all took a covid test and all tested positive.
I dont know why this is all happening at once but im taking it as a sign. It's TIME TO GET OUT. The roof made us leave and now covid is keeping us from going back.
With all this said...im making this post because I'm asking for help.
I need help financially. I'm a single mom working my butt off to take care of two beautiful amazing and Growing teenagers. But with these tragedies that have come on it has set me back to a point where if I don't ask for help we won't make it.
Anyone who is willing to help please do!!!! We are all so appreciative of you!!!!
I would like to try and raise enough money to at least get us into a new rent or maybe a down payment on a small home.
Maybe it's asking for too much. But it can't hurt to ask. Miracles do happen."
