Helping Mohammad's Family :Escaping War to New Life
Title: A Cry from the Heart of Gaza
In the heart of Gaza, where the pains of war meet the dreams of life, I live as one of the sons of this land. I am Mohammad Nasr, and along with my wife Yasmin and our two children, Nasr (8 years old) and Alin (7 years old), we write our diary amidst the ruins of what remains of our homes.
Imagine with me: on an ordinary day, while the sun sparkled in the sky, an unexpected explosion echoed. Moments later, we found ourselves trapped under the rubble. Minutes felt like hours, but the rescue teams managed to pull us out. However, the shells left deep scars; I broke my leg and needed painful surgeries.
When I returned home, everything was different. Yasmin was suffering from trauma, and our children sought safety in our arms. Nasr began scavenging for food in the streets, while Alin smiled through her tears, searching for moments of joy amidst the destruction.
Moreover, Yasmin, who is battling cancer, needs treatment abroad, where hospitals have been destroyed and resources are scarce.
We now live in camps that reflect a heartbreaking reality. Yet despite it all, we still hope. We are writing to you to ask for support because every donation can change the fate of our family.
Think about it: your support can restore hope to our children and light up our dark paths. Let us unite to make a difference and give life a new chance.
Thank you for listening.
