Helping Mom to be With William

Hi, my name is Colleen and I am fundraising on behalf of my mother, Frances Bergman. My brother William is only 31, and was diagnosed in November with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. We have no idea what happened or what has caused this, but he is gravely ill. The doctors are still trying to figure out what made him get so sick so fast; he doesn’t drink or do drugs and never has. He is currently at UVA in their transplant facility, which is four hours from us. Mom was just preparing to look at retiring in March after her 70th birthday, but she is now missing a ton of work because of everything happening. I’m trying to help her have some funds available so she can go to UVA as often as possible and not have to worry about paying her bills or having gas money etc. while she is already so overwhelmed with everything else.
