I personally want to thank everyone for helping us reach our goal for the family. Mikki's family is extremely grateful for all the love and support they have received. She will be greatly missed!

It is with a heavy heart I let everyone know that Mikki passed away this morning peacefully with her family around her. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Mikki got to go home on hospice care on Friday, April 24th. She is aware that her time with her family is limited. She is resting a lot,but when she is awake she is chatting, and being her sarcastic self with her family. We are almost to our goal, please help us reach our $10,000 mark!
I will update this page as I learn more. Please keep Mikki and her family in your prayers.

April 21st, Mikki Woods was rushed to the hospital. Once there, they discovered she has a medical condition called hyponatremia (not COVID-19 related). Currently, she is being treated in the ICU; however, the prognosis is not favorable. They are expecting her to be in ICU for a couple more days so they can stabilize her, and then she will get moved to hospice.
She has touched so many children's and families lives! The students that she has taught over the last 15 years were her babies. She gave everything to her students. Now is the time for us to help her and her family.
As hard as this is on us, I cannot even start to understand how hard it is on her mother, father, sister, nephews, and brother-in-law. So how can we help? Donate if possible, even if it's $5.00, every little bit helps. Her family is going through enough without having to worry about doctor and hospital bills.
