Helping Muhammad's family to leave Gaza

I am Muhammad Adnan Abu Shamala, a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip. I am addressing you to help me and my afflicted family escape from the scourge of the war in the Gaza Strip. My family consists of my wife and my little daughter, Bana. The war began on October 7. My child was no more than 3 months old, on the third day. During the war, the residential block in which we live was bombed. As a result of this bombing, our house was destroyed. We were pulled out from under the rubble, and I, my wife, and my child were injured.

Since that day, we lost our home and its warmth, and the war began to eat away at our bodies and souls. The beautiful features of life changed into massacres and blood, and the occupation stripped us of our humanity and our rights as human beings to live.

Our injuries were not minor and we were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, and from here began the suffering of war and displacement from outside northern Gaza to its south ،‏We were displaced to Deir al-Balah, then to Khan Yunis, then to Rafah, and inside Rafah we were displaced to more than one place.

‏The war did not stop there. I also lost my car, and after a while we were informed of the bombing of my father’s house and company, which I used to work for and which was my source of livelihood. Now we no longer have a home or a job. We have lost everything.

‏My child grew up during the days of war, she grew up with the sounds of explosions and bombings, and she did not live like the rest of the children in the world.

‏I hope to God that this war will end so that my daughter will remain well, because I cannot bear to lose her because of this war after I lost my first child.

‏Therefore, I ask you to help me and my little family in getting out to safety because we deserve to live in safety
