Helping mum at home.

MAY 4TH.
I will skateboarding from Leeds to Barry island to raise money for my parents to help towards costs of changes to there house to help make things for my mum more accessible and easier for her.
I can’t sit back and do nothing so our “journey for jo” is the start of it.
Last year in October my mum woke up one day struggled to talk and had strange feelings in her arm and leg.
5 months later and tests in the hospital and the neurologist has said that we are looking at “motor neurone disease.” The probability factor was 99%.
While occupational health can help they can’t help with everything so I’m stepping in and raising money to help with anything to make my mum as comfortable as I can.
Skateboarding has looked after me my whole life and I’m now calling in everyone I’ve met and shared memories with to help in anyways they can. I’ve set up a go fund me which is at the bottom of this post and will be in my bio also.
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AND HELPE RAISE AWRENESS OF THIS BECASUE I WANT AS MANY PEOPLE TO JOIN AS POSSIBLE ALONG SIDE ME AND @connorvasey_98 WHO WILL BE SKATING 300 MILES FOR BOTH OUR MUMS.
Connor sadly lost his mum to the same disease so we are getting ready take this journey on for them both regardless of how hard it will be.
To all my friends and family over the years you’ll know I don’t ask for much and do everything independently and selflessly.
I need your help. Even if it’s just to share this post and spread the word or to come and skate a few miles with me.
Our journey for Jo starts MAY4th.
To my mum : you’ve led me in the right direction and made me who I am today. You’ve looked over me my whole life with love and kindness.
Now it’s my turn to return it.
I love you mum. ❤️
