Helping our Family kick Cancers Butt again!

My brother, Scott had a follow up appointment with Scott’s ENT doctor that ordered his biopsy, and that appointment definitely did not go the way we thought. When they did the biopsy, apparently they ordered two different test. The results that we received in his MyChart were the results from the first test, which showed negative results for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which was the first type of cancer that Scott had many years ago, well the second test ordered, came back positive for squamous cell carcinoma in his lymph node on the right side of his neck. It felt like a ton of bricks had fallen on our chest, as we weren’t expecting this type of news, after receiving what we thought was a good biopsy. His oncologist wasn’t tagged in the test results so he wasn’t even aware until Scott text him after getting this news from his ENT Dr. To say we are in shock, is a complete understatement, but thank goodness we know the one that isn’t surprised by anything. We know that God has him regardless of the outcome or any test result.
We were told that it’s pretty aggressive, so they are going to put a plan together to fight it aggressively. Our next step is that Scott will have neck dissection surgery, after he completely heals from that, he’ll begin chemo. We come to y’all again and ask for prayers and donations as he will be out of work for the unforeseeable future. Please pray specifically that this ugly cancer will not spread to another area of his body and that every cancer cell be rebuked in the name of Jesus. Thank you all dearly.
