Mohammad Nashwan: The Story of a Father Who Dreams of Rebuilding His Life for His Children

Peace be upon you,
My name is Mohammad Nashwan, I am a 37-year-old Palestinian civil engineer, married with five children: two boys and three girls, the oldest of whom is 13 years old, and the youngest of whom is 3 years old. I spent many years of my life building a dream for me and my small family.

I started my professional life as a civil engineer in 2010, after graduating from university with a passion to achieve stability for my family. With great effort, I was able to build a small house for my family, which was a dream come true, and I opened my own engineering office, which became my main source of income. In addition, I supported my wife in establishing her own beauty salon, so that we would have an additional source of income and a more secure future.

But in the blink of an eye, everything changed.

The last war came to destroy my dreams and destroy everything I had built. My house, which I had built with the sweat of years, no longer exists. My engineering office, which was my only source of income, became rubble. Even my wife’s project was not spared from destruction. We found ourselves living in a tent with our five children, trying to survive in unforgiving conditions.

Today, I live without income, without a home, and without any hope of a near future that would restore my dignity as a father and responsible for his family. Every day, I face my children’s questions about their future, and I strive to provide them with the basics of life. Food has become a miracle, and the future is unknown.

Why am I asking for your support?

My campaign is not just a request for help, but an attempt to stand up again.

My first priority: securing food and basic needs for my children, so that they do not go to bed hungry and do not feel alone.

My biggest goal: raising an amount that will enable me to rebuild my engineering office and restore my work, or at least provide a small project that will restore our stability.

The last option: If staying in Gaza is not safe, I aspire to travel with my family to a place where we can live in dignity and safety.

What does your donation mean?

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference.

It could mean a meal for the children.

It could mean renting a temporary place that protects us from the cold of winter.

It could be the first building block in rebuilding our future.

My message to you:

If you are reading this story now, you are part of my hope. I may not be able to change the circumstances alone, but with your support, together we can rebuild the lives of five children and a father who dreams of returning to normal life.

Thank you to everyone who contributes, even with a sincere invitation.
