My mom and I have fallen on hard times. She’s bedridden from a stroke she had in 2019. I have been scrambling to find a job that allows me to work from home, and while I have a few interviews, that won’t help us with our immediate needs.

I feed her, bathe her, I do everything and I’m getting no help from my half siblings on her side. I’m 26 years old and I am all alone in this. I am trying so hard and it’s not quite enough. I barely have enough money for groceries.

Please, I’m past the point of being embarrassed about this. We’re desperate.
