Helping My Parents Rebuild After Scam Attack

I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My parents, aged 69 and 67, recently fell victim to a heartless scam during an already difficult time. Just as they were grieving the loss of my uncle (my father's brother), a scam artist preyed on their vulnerability, leaving them in a state of emotional and financial distress.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, online scammers emptied my father's business account and wiped out their savings and checking accounts. The magnitude of the loss is overwhelming, leaving my parents with empty bank accounts and a daunting road ahead. I have filed reports with the FBI, FTC, Bank, Internet Crimes, and every Elder Fraud hotline I could find, but these cases and the lost funds are rarely, if ever, resolved.
