Help Nancy & Terry Out of Homelessness

Nancy, an 83-year-old cancer survivor, and Terry her caretaker - 61 years old, have been sleeping in their car for the past two months after losing their home of 35 years due to the mistreatment of the management from the Willowick Royal Mobile Home Park.
Nancy had lived in Willowick Royal Mobile Home Park for 35 years. As a cancer survivor and unable to work due to her medical condition, she relied on renting out rooms and her social security income to make ends meet. Terry, one of her long-term roommates, also served as her caretaker. Nancy took him in as family, and they shared a close bond. Despite their status as long-time residents, Nancy and Terry were continued to experience the mistreatments from the park management.
The management had been searching for various reasons over the past year to create conflicts, hoping to push Nancy into “abandoning mobile home” from the legal perspective, so the park can replace their slot with a newer model and have new tenants to come in at a higher rent. Despite their efforts to force Nancy out, they were unsuccessful until the unexpected passing of Nancy's son, Bob, last year. Bob had been standing up to the park's attempts to cause trouble. However, with his sudden death, Nancy struggled to keep up with rent payments. Although she always made an effort to pay on time and was only late once in October, the park seized upon this as an excuse to deny her rent, despite Nancy was having the payment ready. In late Jan, the park management demanded she vacate the premises. With minimal savings left after her son's funeral, Nancy couldn't afford to legally challenge the mistreatment by the park and quickly found herself homeless at the age of 83. Now, she and Terry are living in her car with their beloved pet. Terry, meanwhile, also suffered a loss when one of Nancy's roommate stole his truck's pink slips, and his savings and selling his vehicle for quick cash; disappeared a week before Nancy lose her home.
After Bob’s funeral expenses, Nancy and Terry find themselves lack of savings. Their search for a rental room has become difficult as most places are hesitant to accommodate seniors with pets without a significant deposit. Thus, I'm reaching out for donations to help them gather funds for a rental deposit. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, holds the power to transform their lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story. As we face hardships, it's through acts of kindness that we find strength and appreciate what we have in life. Your support would mean the world to Nancy, and Terry. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to learn more about their situation, and any information about shelter would help.
