Helping Natasha's Family After Tragedy

On May 22, one of the most loving and devoted young moms lost her son tragically. Two-year-old Oakley died from drowning. Natasha is a coworker of mine and an incredible, genuine human being. Anyone who meets her can tell just how much she cares about her children; she absolutely lights up with love when talking about them.

Words cannot convey what she and her family are going through at this time and my heart, as well as the hearts of all her co-workers on the Telemetry unit at Mercy Hospital are weighing heavy for them. We are not able to bring him back or mend all the broken hearts, but we can help financially. Any funds raised will go right to the Schmidt family to help in this time of unanticipated expenses, grief, and time out of work. I urge anyone who is able, please help us let Natasha and her family know that she is not alone.
