HELPING OUR BROTHER IN BLUE-OTIS GOWDY

Several years ago our brother in blue Otis Gowdy was injured in the line of duty which resulted in several surgeries to correct the damage sustained, but ultimately causing his career to be cut short.  Gowdy put every part of himself into law enforcement, the Florence Police Department, and his brothers and sisters working beside him.  Now, years later he is still going through corrective surgeries to give him relief from pain and give his life some normalcy.  Recently while having one such surgery, the medical staff failed to counteract a nerve block after the procedure which resulted in a life threatening condition.  Otis and his wife Annique are now trying to get Otis into a specialized hospital with doctors capable of correcting the damage from the previous surgery.  This has resulted in many nights of expensive hotel stays out of state and more medical bills.  Please help us lift this family up with whatever you can donate whether it be money or your time.  The goal is $5,000 to offset the cost of hotels, travel, and bills.  The reality is the cost will be far greater than this amount.  Our desire is to lift the financial stress off of the Gowdy's so that they can focus on the complex medical decisions and healing.
