Helping Our Friend Don King

Our friend Don King needs our help.  Some of you know Don is currently very sick again. In the last few years he has had many medical issues. More recently he had a stroke a couple of years ago, which left him with aphasia, and now is currently on chemotherapy and radiation for stage three esophageal cancer. He can no longer eat and must be feed through a tube in his stomach. His friends Kent Leediker, Mike Persinger, and myself have been doing what they can to help him in his time need. We are currently in the process of helping him get his living situation fixed, cleaning his house, and getting someone in to help to take care of him. With that said, Don’s bills have been mounting, especially his medical bills, and we need some help to take care of them as he is not financially able to do this all on his own. We are asking some of his almost 4000 Facebook friends and the tens of thousands of other people who have met Don over the years who been recipients of kindness and generosity to consider donating to his new Go Fund Me page. We realize that this is not the first time some of you have been asked to help Don out and that a lot of you have already have and hopefully will do so again. But at this point Don is very much in need of the help of his friends. We are asking anyone reading this to remember what it was like to know Don King. Whether it was a friend who went out with Don and never paid a dime because Don always picked up the tab. To the people who worked for Don and partied with him who always got the time off they wanted and never paid for a drink. To the customers who were also friends who got treated like royalty every time they stepped into one of the clubs Don ran. Don can use all our help right now and he needs it. We want to thank all of you in advance for anything you can do to help Don at this difficult point in his life.
