Helping Our Laid Off Daycare Workers

Due to Covid-19 our beloved daycare center, Tati's Small World Learning Center, has temporarily shut down and had to lay off all of its staff.

That's 15 wonderful women who have helped to care for our boys from infancy to pre-K: taught them, hugged them, dried their tears, sung them songs, rocked them to sleep, and been there for them when we could not. And now they have no source of income.  They are facing serious financial hardship, many with families of their own to support, and we want to help.

Ms. Kathy, Ms. Nastassia, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Julissa, Ms. Dixie, Ms. Aura, Ms. Lisgedy, Ms. Terlith, Ms. Pilar, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Cierra, Ms. Kayla, Ms. Mayerling, Ms. Erika, Ms. Marigloria - Thank you so much for taking care of our kids. We hope we can help take care of you.

Anything you can give will go a long way. We hope to raise $15,000 in one week. That would be $1,000 per woman. Likely not enough to make up for all lost income, but hopefully enough to help cover rent or other needs. At the end of the week, I will withdraw the funds and transfer them to Tati's bank account. Ms. Cindy will then venmo the money to each of the staff members.
