Helping our mum during her cancer diagnosis

Hi! My name is Jasmin and me and my Sister Abbie have set up this go fund me for our mum who was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma of April of this year. The cancer was a complete surprise and was only caught after she injured herself out on a run (she’s a very active cookie!)

Upon receiving a concerning scan result, she was sat down and told that she had cancer and was immediately faced with how to tell her children and what the upcoming months would look like when she had to cease working.

Our mum, an aged care worker who spends all her time caring for others and offering her love and care where needed, has had to stop working. The cancer she has, to be quite frank , has come with a complete lack of information and communication from specialists due to the back log they currently have in WA. However, due to the cancers increased growth, she has now finally been booked in for its removal and her treatment.

Life doesn’t stop when you get a cancer diagnosis and it definitely never stops for a mother who still cares for her two youngest children, one still being in primary school whilst trying to juggle bill payments, groceries and the high expenses that come with living in todays economy.

This go fund me has been put in place by us, her daughters to go directly to her so she can feel more at ease while she’s unable to work. We greatly appreciate and send all of our thankyou to anyone who’s able to help
