Helping out Julia

For over 20 years now, Tom's Place has been very supportive of and generous to, our community. Tom and Dean Martin , since the day they opened, always opened their place to host charity events, benefit concerts, and fund raising rides to benefit those in need. They never called their clientele "customers"...they were always thought of and treated as Family. Whatever the need... a death in the family, someone lost everything in a house fire, a devastating accident, someone battling cancer... toys for needy children at Christmas, clothes and supplies for homeless shelters....whatever the need, they would go out of their way to help raise the funds the person needed. Since she took over the place, for the past 12 years, their daughter Rhonda Steelman and Mickey Steelman , have carried on this tradition of service. There is no telling how many 100's of thousands of dollars have been raised at Tom's place the last 2 decades. Both their own events, and also events that others have put on and asked Tom's Place to host it. And they put the same effort into it if it is your event as they do an event of their own.

Well, it is time for the community to reach out and return the favor. Tom and Dean's granddaughter, Rhonda and Mickey's daughter, Julia (or "JuJu" as she is known by the Tom's Place family,. desperately needs our help. ALL of our help. For the past moth or so, she has been bed-ridden due to complications of several health issue she has battled. Well, they have come together in a "perfect storm" that has totally debilitated her. She can't do anything for herself...someone has to stay with her 24/7. She hasn't been able to work in over a month, And we don't really know how long it will be til she recovers enough.

So, Oct. 1st WE, her "Tom's Place family", are asking the community to come out and help us help JuJu. We will be having a short ride to raise money, starting from and coming back to Toms. Ride leaves at 1pm
