Helping out Misty and Robert

Hi I’m Brigitte and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Misty.

She and her husband recently moved back to Pittsburgh after living in Florida for a few years because the cost of living was so high. Things were going well for them and they were adjusting fine when she got very sick and it was discovered that she had a heart problem and needed emergent surgery. she had the surgery and is recovering well, but they live in a city where they have no family or friends and no support.

Her husband had to take unpaid leave from his job to help her during their recovery and she is not able to work right now so they are in desperate need of help to cover their bills until she can get back on her feet. she is recovering very well which is amazing and awesome but right now, being so close to the holidays, its a difficult time to be in.

She is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back and is always there for those who need her, therefore I am trying to help her raise money to get her and her husband through this difficult time and to help them get back on their feet until they are able to work again.

Having had to have open heart surgery myself several years ago I understand how stressful it is worrying about the recovery and how the bills are

going to get paid. Misty really helped me through the emotional part of that journey and helped take the stress off of me there and I am just trying to help do the same for her now.
