Taty Guzman - very serious case of liver cancer.

For those of you who know Taty Guzman, she has been diagnosed with a very advanced case of liver cancer, now having metastasized to her pancreas, one of her lungs and lymph nodes. With prayer and fasting we are all exercising faith for her life to be extended and her quality of life to be restored. While she does have insurance, her family has been faced with stepping “out of network” to expedite analysis and at times selecting the best physicians and care they can get. When one’s life is at stake you do whatever you can, in the short time you have, to increase chances of a positive outcome. So, the medical bills have mounted.

Taty was employed at Mesquite High in Gilbert. Her short term disability has run out so her source of income is gone. She is hoping to get approved for long term disability, but even then it’ll be a struggle to make ends meet. Her paycheck was a significant source of income for the Guzmans here and also for supporting her children's families in Peru, so the loss of income has been a tough blow in many ways.
