Helping Pat Bradley

Hello, my name is Lyn Ribisi, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read this story.

I’ve worked at Glendale Community College in Glendale, CA for about 10 years now. During that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a fine staff member named Pat Bradley. She has worked in the college bookstore since 1984, and through her hard work and ray-of-sunshine personality, she has become one of the managers overseeing the textbook division for decades.

Pat has worked extremely hard at her position and has used her strong organizational skills mixed with her excellent customer service attitude. Her work has been impeccable, and her heart of gold has made her a beloved member of the college community.

Unfortunately, the company that bought the bookstore is downsizing, and they are eliminating Pat’s position. So, her friends are organizing this fundraiser to help her during this transition.

Pat needs money for some medical problems that have surfaced recently which adds to her already difficult financial situation. At this point, she can’t afford further tests to find out what is wrong. As we all know, each visit or test is thousands of dollars, and those expenses sure add up quickly!

We all would love to pay back Pat for all the friendship and joy she’s brought to our community.
