Donation protected
In your lifetime in and around Boyne City or the surrounding area you have had the pleasure of getting to know at least one member of the Kipapa family! They are one of the first families to say a prayer, encouraging word or helping hand to those in need. Now it’s our turn to show the youngest, Pua Kipapa some love...
Pua’s medical journey first started with him falling and hurting his knee. He was taken to the doctors and they said everything was ok. Pua was then taken to Quick Care because his hands were going numb. Pua then found out after a CAT scan that he had blood clots in his lungs. As he was in the hospital he had a MRI done on his neck and they found that there was a blockage of nerves in his neck and spine. The doctors decided to do surgery because later on down the line it could have paralyzed him with one move. Now that his surgery is done he is on his way to recovery and physical therapy. Pua found out that he has run out of vacation time and he also has no insurance. He has a long road a head of him for the healing process before he can go back to work. Right now Pua is looking to be out of work a good 6-9 months with no income coming in.
Giving back to one of those who have done so much in and around our community is one of the purest forms of paying it forward.
Please help Pua get back on his feet...he shouldn’t have to worry about anything but his recovery right now, so let’s help him out!
Donate if you can, but share, share, share. Get the word out!! ️
