In June of this year I found out I was expecting a sweet baby and we were so excited. Everything was going well even though I was worried about my age being a factor. My Dr assured me it was not due to having healthy pregnancies before and no genetic problems in my family. On June 16 I was out working in my flower beds when I started feeling bad. I went to the ER at the local hospital and was admitted as a patient. They ran several test and told me I had miscarried. I was crushed. I came back for my six week follow up and again the Dr. Confirmed I had lost my baby. Fast forward.....in August 2013 I was moving to a smaller place as I did not need the space and I no longer needed the big house. During my move my friend said she thought I was still pregnant and bought a test. It came out positive. I returned to the hospital and the Drs. Confirmed I was indeed still pregnant and they had not only misdiagnosed my miscarriage but also made a mistake by saying I had lost it at my 6 week follow up visit. Due to all my dieting and not eating right the baby has a few abnormalities which will need medical attention after birth. My job has moved me inside now and my pay has been cut in half. I am getting behind more and more each day and they will not pay for me to take maternity leave once the baby arrives. They are now docking my pay for each Dr. visit also. I have just gotten it down to only 2 Drs. every other week. Each visit to my Drs. Offices seems to reveal something new. There is a possible hole in his heart. Two vessel cord, missing forearm born and two club feet. My last visit the ultrasound tech could not see the heart defect but the Dr refused to confirm. She said we will know more once he is born. With all this I am worried about how long I will be able to be out of work with him? Will a daycare take him when it is time to return? My only other income is child support from my other kids. This will not cover his medical expenses, food, housing and utilities. My only vehicle is a 1999 jeep which is on it's last leg and every week I seem to be fixing something to keep it going. I am embarrassed that I need help but I do not know what else to do. If I did not need my health insurance and almost due, I would find a higher paying job. I feel trapped and the 350$ a week they reduced my pay to is not making it. I am asking for help paying the medical bills and household bills while I am on maternity leave. Thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and donations.
