Helping Rosie and family
Donation protected
My grandmother Rosie had lost her lifetime home to a house fire.
This house has been in our family since 1965!
Tonight she had lost part of it to a fire. The roof and attic caught fire do to her wood stove. She lost her room, the kitchen and part of living room. She is 74 and raises a 8 year old great grandson, her eldest son lives with her and her Brother Robert Duran. She is currently staying with her eldest granddaughter until she talks to someone from our tribe. Anything helps even a share! I know money is tight but she is raising my nephew who is a 2nd grader at Box Elder School. Also was the home to my Father and her brother.
12/8 Update she is now staying at Northern Winz for 2 nights that the tribe helped get for them. Housing is trying to get her a house but will have to wait till one is ready. I have gotten ahold of red cross for her and have a zoom meeting tomorrow. I appreciate you all and so does she.
12/10 They are extending the stay for her and the others who lived in the home at the Northern Winz casino. She just got the first payment from the gofundme and is buying clothes and snacks for the hotel stay. The tribe is currently working on getting them into a 2 bedroom until she can get something done about her house as in building new one on the land the house is on as she owns it. My grandmother Roselee us very appreciative and thankful for you all who are contributing. Feel free to message me with any questions.
